Introduction

At Hub.io Health Foundation ("we" or "us") value the privacy of our site visitors and registered users. Our privacy policy states what information may be collected from users or visitors to the website ("you") and what we will and will not do with the information.

 

Please note that this privacy policy has no effect on data collection or use of information by companies outside of the Hub.io Health Foundation group, or by individuals who are not employed by Hub.io Health Foundation. What do we do with the information we collect?

It is always up to you to disclose and submit your personal information through the contact forms within this website and the data capture forms within the Hub.io Health application for registered users, however, if you choose not to do so, we reserve the right not to register you for any of the services or provide you with information related to any of the services integrated into the Hub.io Health application. Personal information" is information that can identify you as an individual, and includes:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, gender, race, country and state of birth.
  • Data related to health indicators that you provide to obtain the indicator values offered during the use of the platform. Your user ID and password to access a specific section of the site (where applicable) and any information about your account preferences associated with the platform that you provide to us.
  • Session information for your login, so that our system can "talk" to you while you are logged in.

 

If you provide personal information to us, either directly or through a Hub.io Health Foundation partner, we:

  • we will not sell or rent the information to any third party without your consent. In the event that you opt out or unsubscribe, we may at some point send you information that we feel is important to you, such as news associated with a service of interest to you or changes to the website's terms of service.
  • We will take reasonable precautions to protect your information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction;
  • we will not use or disclose your information except in one of the following instances:
    • as necessary to provide you with services that you wish to purchase or activate through the platform.

    • in conjunction with other information in such a way that its identity cannot reasonably be determined (e.g., statistical compilations)

    • for external auditors reviewing the Terms and Privacy of this site who have previously agreed to keep the information confidential;
    • as necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of Hub.io Health, its users, and others; this may include (for example) exchanging information with other organizations for fraud protection

We may collect information that cannot be used to identify you, such as your domain name or the IP address of your computer. This information may be used in conjunction with technical information for the administration of our website and platform, for research and development, user management and to focus our user experience efforts more precisely.

We may store data and information on servers provided by hosting providers with whom we have an agreement.

 

Your privacy responsibilities

To help protect your privacy, please be sure to:

  • do not share your user ID or password with anyone else;
  • exit or "log off" from the Hub.io Health platforms when you are no longer using it;

Notification to users in the European Union

Hub.io Health's operations are primarily located in countries within the Americas. If you provide us with your information, the information will be transferred outside the European Union to the United States of America. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to its storage and use as described on this website.

 

Information collected from infants

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Hub.io Health platforms. Hub.io Health will only collect information from persons under the age of 18 that the user provides and under the consent and responsibility of each user.

We reserve the right to change this privacy policy when we deem it necessary and appropriate to comply with legal requirements or changes in the foundation's operating practices. If you have provided us with your email address, we will notify you via email of changes to your email address regarding the handling of your information.
