Spanish:

Migraine (disorder)

Description

Headache of varying intensity, often recurring in similar form over a long period of time, usually accompanied or preceded by visual symptoms, often causing a throbbing sensation and accompanied by nausea, sensitivity to noise and light.

Explanation

This type of headache usually appears between the ages of 10 and 45 and although there is always a first occurrence, it tends to appear in a repetitive and very similar way throughout life, i.e. it usually establishes a pattern, most experts believe that it involves nerve pathways, release of chemicals with subsequent involvement of blood vessels and surrounding brain tissue.
